Man stabbed over Beyonce - Beyoncé’s marriage sparks stabbing, Police in Ohio say two men got into a heated debate over who singer Beyoncé is married to. One man reportedly became so enraged that the other didn’t know who her husband was, he allegedly stabbed him. Police say the attack happened just before midnight on New Year’s Eve, Police in Ohio said a man was stabbed outside of an apartment for not knowing about singer Beyonce's marriage to rapper Jay-Z.

Detective Marty Compton of the Parma Police Department said the 48-year-old Garfield Heights man was arguing on New Year's Eve with Ronald Deaver, 31, after Deaver discovered the man did not know the music stars were married, WJW-TV, Cleveland, reported Thursday.

Compton said Deaver stabbed the man at about 11 p.m. outside Deaver's apartment.

The victim was reported to be in good condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Deaver was arrested and charged with felonious assault. Jennifer Fornari, 31, was arrested on a charge of obstructing justice after allegedly telling officers Deaver no longer lived in his apartment.
